I’ve been trying to get into a habit of drawing/completing things a bit more regularly this week instead of fussing over them and being (as) critical. I’m rather pleased at the fact I have a handful of little things to show for it so far! Some of them go together so I’ll post them in a batch, but there are individual things too, like this!

My stream and I have been playing Ao Oni so I felt like trying to draw some skeptical middle school students tonight. I’m not sure how successful I was but ooooh well!

Nothing currently! But for some reason I was randomly reminded of the time when I was younger and I ate like…an entire freakin bag of BBQ chips one night. I was sitting in bed eating potato chips, man. They were really good! I kept putting the bag back down at the side of the bed but then feeling compelled to pick it back up and eat some more. I got sick afterwards and it was pretty lame… but I remember still kinda wanting more chips even after the fact, haha. :’|

So as part of its Touhou Project Mini Series, Griffon is going to be releasing little prepainted versions of Mikakunin Kakou Buttai’s lovely individual Minoriko and Shizuha garage kits.

It’s finally happening you guys. We’re getting pre-painted Akisis figures. What’s more, we’re getting pre-painted Akisis figures and the sculpt is fantastic and the prototypes look great tooooooo I’m so exciteddddahhhhhhhhhhhh

whoops i sure did disappear for a while there, what with house buyin’ and movin’ and all that jazz. Here’s a few sketches from last month to maybe make up for it.

These were practice drawings of some of my guild members in Etrian Odyssey IV (which I need to pick back up.) I wanna get better at drawing them so I can make stupid comics and things about them. I like how they turned out so maybe I’ll color them/finish some of the others I had started that aren’t included here.

While I can enjoy a good April Fools prank, I’ve never been one to do them myself. But once upon a time, I had an idea - a little gag to play on my dear stream. This is a tribute to that idea.

I rescheduled my typical Saturday stream to Sunday (04/01.) This sort of thing happens sometimes so I figured my viewers woudln’t think anything of it. They showed up the next evening expecting to pick up where we had left off in my blind playthrough of Amnesia: The Dark Descent. And we did. What they weren’t expecting, though, was that I’d be blaring excessively cheerful Japanese pop music in the background and commentating in my best/worst horrendously inaccurate weeaboo Japanese while we played it. It was Amnesia ~The Kawaii Desu-ent~. And it was pretty sugoi.

It’s now one year later and I still chuckle to myself over this endeavor. It wasn’t much, but it was a prank, all the same! Thank you for allowing me this questionable opportunity and for humoring my ridiculous whims.

Moral of the story: There are many things a person can do in their life that they may later regret. Let piping perky foreign music over survival horror games never be one of them. ヾ(❀◕ω◕)ﾉﾟ。・。・°☆・。

PS:

I couldn’t figure out where to fit him into the final piece but felt he needed to be included.

One coworker (who sits across from me) noticed the alert on Skype and wished me a happy birthday and the other one in the same room perked up and was like “…Wait, it’s your birthday!? Seriously?” and then shook her head at the state of affairs since the typical party-coordinator left the company last week ~~though apparently they forgot her birthday one year too but remembered part way through. NO SUCH LUCK FOR ME THOUGH I COULDN’T HELP BUT HOLD OUT A LITTLE HOPE. Maybe they’ll notice later on.~~
